ILLINOIS Trucker runs 2004 Cat ACERT 400,000 Miles with No Oil Change with Gulf Coast Bypass Oil Filter

Gulfport, Mississippi, February 1, 2007 – David Mawson, of Jacksonville, IL, has now run his 2004 Peterbilt with a Cat ACERT Engine, equipped with a Gulf Coast Bypass Oil Filter over 400,000 Miles since the last oil change.  He installed the Gulf Coast Filter System and joined their oil analysis program after hearing about the filter system from the Dave Nemo XM Radio Show and also from his good friend Jim Braner, owner of Braner Truckline in Jacksonville, IL.  So far Gulf Coast Filters has on record 35 of David’s Oil Sample reports over the 400,000 mile period.  David says, “When I have my overhead run my mechanic comments how clean the motor is, I know why”.  Jerry Sims, President of Gulf Coast Filters, comments “I called David to update his file on how long he had run since the last oil change and he told me he hasn’t changed the oil since the filter was installed.  I told him that has got to be some kind of record for a 2004 ACERT”. Gulf Coast Filters to be aired on Ship Shape TV

Gulfport, Mississippi, January 23, 2007 Gulf Coast Filters, manufacturer of On Board Fuel Polishing Systems and Bypass Oil Filters, are now a sponsor for the Ship Shape TV Show.  Their commercial will begin airing on Saturday, January 27 on Fox Sports Net Florida.  Each week, Ship Shape TV teaches viewers how-to accessorize their boats, how-to make improvements and how-to make repairs to their boats.  Viewers even learn about regular maintenance procedures, ranging from simple cleaning tips, to taking care of bilge pumps.  Gulf Coast Fuel Polishing Systems fit well with this show and will help more diesel boat owners know the importance of having Clean Fuel.  Gulf Coast Fuel Polishing Systems are designed to circulate, clean and dry the fuel while the boat is sitting at the dock to help ensure the engines run on clean fuel at all times.  Many people do not realize that many of the common problems with diesel fuel, such as algae and sludge, occur while the boat is sitting for thousands of hours a year.  Condensation forms in the fuel tank and mixes with oxygen to help feed the growth of fuel contamination.  By polishing the fuel on a routine basis your fuel will stay clean and dry.  The reason Over the Road Trucks do not have fuel problems is because they move so much fuel it does not stay in the tank long enough to have any major contamination growth.
